Easy Blondies from Joy's Hope

I just discovered a new blog two days ago, and yesterday I decided to make one of the recipes on that blog.

The blog is Joy's Hope and the recipe is for Easy Blondies.

These easy blondies will soon be on their way to my friends husband who is currently on deployment.  I send cookies every month with Operation Baking GALS, which I have mentioned before.

Rob shares all of the goodies that he gets with his fellow Marines, lucky them!

Try out the recipe.  It is beyond easy to make!

The blondies will be joining:

- 2 cans of pringles
- 12 granola bars (nature valley chewy trail mix ones at that!)
- Starbursts
- Homemade gorp (good old raisins and peanuts), except mine is filled with goodness.
          - raw almonds and cashews, lightly salted peanuts, roasted sunflower seeds, pepitas, dried cranberries, raisins, golden raisins, and m&ms.  The combination turned out to be a great one.  The slight saltiness from the two salted items provides just the right amount of salty when mixed with the sweet of the fruit and candy.  Yum!!

What are you baking in the dreadful heat of summer?
